Subject: Pulling a generator armature from '65 engine Sat 18 Aug 2007 - 17:22
Hello, I have to pull the armature from a '65 engine to clean it. The old shop manual says that you use an armature extractor screw, (part # 2205-VA) which I could make....
does anyone know the diameter and other particulars of this screw ?

Salut!
You can buy the extractor tool at www.ami-2cv.com for 34 euro. Sometimes, it is available on e-bay.fr for 12 euro or so...

Jim,
Thank you for the link. I can see that the tool is about what I expected... If I knew the pitch and diameter of the screw/bolt, I could turn a tool on my lathe. I did not know one could even buy the tool, though.
much to do on my little green wonder , the 57 2cv....
